Welcome to Faith Family Church, a Spirit-filled Rhema Christian church in Chandler, Arizona. Our mission is simple: Loving God. Loving People. Loving Truth. We exist to help people truly know God, live out His Word, and walk together as one family in Christ.
At Faith Family Church, church is not a place you go - it’s a family you join.
Faith Family Church is a Rhema affiliated church, which was founded by Kennth Hagin, and emphasizes a personal, spirit-filled walk with God. We are committed to teaching what God says, not what culture redefines as truth.
Living by God’s Word
At Faith Family Church, we believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God. It was written by men chosen by God and guided by the Holy Spirit. The Bible is our ultimate guide for faith, conduct, and truth (2 Timothy 3:16; 1 Thessalonians 2:13; 2 Peter 1:21).
The Godhead: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
We worship one God in three Persons, who are in perfect unity.
God the Father is greater than all and the Creator of life.
Jesus Christ, the Son, is the Word made flesh, sent to redeem humanity.
The Holy Spirit is our Helper, Comforter, Advocate, and Counselor, guiding believers in every area of life (Philippians 2:6; John 14:28; John 16:28; John 1:14; John 15:26).
Humanity, Sin, and Redemption
Humans were created in God’s image but fell into sin through Adam, resulting in spiritual death and separation from God (Romans 3:10, 3:23; 1 John 3:8). Jesus Christ came to redeem us, shedding His blood to restore our relationship with God. Salvation is a free gift from God, received by faith in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8; John 14:6).
Eternal Life: Being Born of the Spirit
The first step to salvation is godly sorrow that leads to repentance. Jesus said everyone must be born again to receive eternal life. The New Birth produces spiritual life and reconnects us with God (John 3:3–5; 1 John 5:12; John 3:16).
Divine Power: Being Filled with the Holy Spirit
Every believer should not only be born of the Spirit but also filled with the Holy Spirit. This is called the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, a gift from God that empowers believers to live a victorious, Spirit-filled life. It is often evidenced by speaking in tongues and brings spiritual gifts for ministry and daily life (Acts 2:4, 19:6; Matthew 3:11; John 14:16-17; Acts 1:8; Ephesians 5:18).
Going Public: Water Baptism
Jesus commanded all believers to go public with their faith through water baptism by immersion. This symbolizes identifying with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection (Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:4; Colossians 2:12; Acts 8:36-39).
Real Growth: Sanctification
A true Christian life shows itself through spiritual fruit and transformation. Sanctification is a progressive work of grace that begins at the New Birth and continues throughout life, producing a holy, Christ-like character (Hebrews 12:14; 1 Thessalonians 5:23; Philippians 3:12–14; 1 Corinthians 1:30).
Blessings: Divine Healing
Jesus wants believers to live abundant lives, spirit, soul, and body. Healing for physical, mental, and emotional needs is available through prayer, laying on of hands, guidance by the Holy Spirit, and spiritual gifts. This is a privilege for every believer today (John 10:10; Isaiah 53:4-5; Mark 16:18; James 5:14-15; 1 Peter 2:24).
Things to Come: The Return of Jesus
We believe in the imminent, bodily return of Jesus Christ. Believers who have died in Christ will rise first, followed by those alive, meeting Him in the air (the Rapture) (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Acts 1:11). After the Tribulation, Jesus will return to earth as King of kings and Lord of lords, reigning with His people during the Millennial Reign (Revelation 20:6).
Final Destination: Hell and Eternal Retribution
Those who die without confessing Jesus Christ as Lord are eternally separated from God in the Lake of Fire. This is a literal, eternal punishment, while believers enjoy everlasting joy in God’s presence (Hebrews 9:27; Revelation 19:20).
Family: Marriage and Sexual Relations
Faith Family Church upholds God’s design for marriage and family. Marriage is a union between one man and one woman, and sexual relations are reserved for marriage (Genesis 2:24; 1 Corinthians 6:9-10; Hebrews 13:4). The church only conducts marriages between a man and a woman.
