Dear Women of Faith

We are sending you this special message to give you information about our upcoming Women of Faith event, The Christmas Café. It is a free event and our biggest outreach women's event all year. We would love to see every woman in the church participate in some way, as this is a golden opportunity for us to be “joined and knit together by what every joint supplies” (Eph 4:16).   Listed below are the various ways you may choose to support this very special event.

Invite an un-churched friend

Please stop by The Christmas Café display table in the foyer and pick up Invitation Cards to give to other women.  To attend the Christmas Café, you will need to register yourself and the confirmed guests you are bringing.  You can register online, in the foyer or by calling the church office, 480-539-8933. Childcare is provided for children ages 1 -11, please provide names and ages of children when you register. Registration deadline for this event is Mon, Nov 30.

Volunteer

We need volunteers to serve in the areas of setup/clean up, decorating, hospitality (food prep/serving), table hostess and greeting.  To volunteer in one of these areas please sign up at our display table in the foyer or respond to this email.

Food Donation

We are able to offer The Christmas Café as a free event because all of the food is prepared and donated by women in the congregation.  We need volunteers to make chicken salad, egg salad, home made cookies, desserts, cheese trays, and veggie trays.  There is a sign up sheet and recipes available at our display table in the foyer. All food donations need to be dropped off at the church on Friday, Dec 4, between 5pm and 8pm.

Gift Donation

Our desire is that every woman attending the event receives a wrapped or bagged gift.  For this reason, we are asking for gift donations.  Examples would be gift baskets containing coffee, lotions, or other items, boxes of chocolates, gift cards to restaurants, Starbucks, or other stores, candle sets, pictures, books, etc.  Please make sure the items are new and are wrapped when they are donated.  We ask that the gift be at least $10 in value. You can bring your gift with you the night of.
